Challenges

The website offers a wide range of training options and courses, and the products are sold to both retail and wholesale businesses. But the website looked really disjointed as it was created on two platforms: WordPress which managed the content and Shopify which managed the products.

The design was outdated too and didn’t reflect the high quality work being delivered by Finishing Touches. Our brief was to redesign and redevelop the entire site and use a single platform: Shopify.

Solution

We completely redeveloped the website and researched the best Shopify apps to enable us to replace WordPress and to integrate with Zoho CRM. We also had to think about preserving SEO when moving WordPress pages to Shopify as the URL structure was totally different.

We created training and courses pages as templates, so these can be easily recreated in the future. And we set up a simple login for wholesale clients to enable them to view the wholesale prices and place orders.
